▲ Babylonstoren

My husband and I visited Babylonstoren in the Cape Winelands a little while ago and what an amazing experience it was! It felt like I was experiencing a little bit of heaven that settled on this patch of earth. One of the most beautiful farms about 20min outside Stellenbosch.

Between the vineyards and donkeys grazing, they have the biggest herb garden I've ever seen. We walked in the garden for almost an hour and probably didn't see all of it. Flower plantations and little hidden paths along the stream to get lost on. We had lunch at the glass house. All the ingredients is freshly picked out of the garden and the most amazing sarmie you'll ever have! We also visited the restaurant, but wasn't able to eat there. Definitely next time! If you ever find yourself in the area, do yourself a favour! Much love and pretty places.

▲ Andy Wyeth

I absolutely love Andy's work! Definitely one of my favourite South-African artists/illustrators at the moment. I need one of these on my wall, it will be very happy there I'm sure. So if you're in the Jozi area, go and check out her exhibition, An unnatural history, at In Toto Gallery, 6 Birdhaven Centre 66, St Andrew Street Birdhaven, 2196. It starts tonight! Also visit her blog here.

▲ Washi Tape

I was sooooo exited when I came across this post on Lanaloustyle! I've been looking for washi tape everywhere and couldn't find a local supplier. Fear not SA lovers of washi tape, you can order from Francesca Mills in Cape Town :) It's R40 for a roll of 10m and R35 if you order more than 5. They are so amazing I had a hard time making up my mind! You can email her at ifmills@mweb.co.za Spread the love! xxx

▲ The Birdcage Café

We're going to Stellenbosch this weekend and I was looking online for a few places to visit... and then I came accross The Birdcage Café :)) HAPPINESS! This looks like the perfect place to have breakfast on Saturday morning (and maybe do some shopping too). I found this lovely place on the Pretty Blog. All the images are also from there. Can't wait!

▲ Wolf & Maiden

I've been waiting to see more of these guys and they opened up a store in Woodstock, Cape Town :) How nice!? My eye has been on that wooded lamp for months now. Can't wait for the day I can afford it. Check out the Wolf & Maiden website and keep an eye out for more amazing things to come!
