Beautiful 2013 DIY calendar that I stumbled upon on Griottes Palette Culinair. I'm not even going to try and elaborate on this post because my French is non existent. So to avoid embarrassment at all cost, just look at the pretty picture okay :) Lovely <3

▲ Superette - 66 Albert Rd

Discovered this great little neighbourhood café in Woodstock on our last trip to Cape Town. A whole new revamped Woodstock Exchange building at 66 Albert Road filled with creative everything! Superette is the lunch spot on the corner and a wonderful place to have a bite or get some work done. Loved the garden hanging from the ceiling :) So much of nice. Make sure to pay a visit if you're in the area.

Ola friends :) Today is our 1 year wedding anniversary (Yay!), so I thought I’d share some more photos with you taken by our very talented friend & Creative Director, Carl Willoughby. This year was truly the best I’ve ever had, embarking on a new journey with my best friend, husband and soul mate, Renier. I feel like the luckiest girl alive and so blessed to share my life with such an inspiration of a man. I almost can’t believe it’s been a year already, but what a spectacular year it’s been and 18 February the best day of my life. Bring it on ;)  I do, I do, I do!

Love Deer Hunter! A little secondhand shop right next to the Old Biscuit Mill. Lots of interesting finds like old roller skates, taxidermy, clothes and vinyl records to name a few. It's also a cute coffee shop if you want to linger a bit longer <3 So nice.

Just a few snaps of our quick visit to Cape Town last weekend. These were taken at the Old Biscuit Mill in Woodstock. That place is such an inspiration every single time we go and how lovely to see how the Mill is slowly changing the whole surrounding neighborhood into and exciting creative hub. More on the way :)

▲ Make something yellow

We've had this super ugly mirror for a while now (hiding it face down in the spare room) and I didn't want to give it away because I knew that I'll be able to do something with it. And then I got a brainwave :) We just have to make it yellow! Amazing how a single colour can change the whole look and personality of anything. Note: don't buy cheap spray paint. You'll end up buying a lot more just to get the item covered. More expensive paint lasts longer and you'll only need 2 layers of paint. x Happy sunny mirror :)
